Two 2.5 inch lobes moulded as one solid piece, so the channel between them sits either side of the spine rather than on it. That is the only reason a peanut exists and it is why a taped-together pair of balls is not the same thing.
Used lying down against a floor, moving an inch at a time up the thoracic spine. Firm, and there is no give at all in a solid moulding.
