Extra-firm 75 kg/m³ EVA over a rigid polymer core, at eighteen inches — the length that covers a whole hamstring in one pass without being unwieldy in a bag. There is almost no give in this one.
Buy it second. It is the roller you move to when the medium-firm one stops registering, and it is genuinely uncomfortable if it is the first roller you have ever used.

Care
- Wipe down with a damp cloth and a little mild soap after use.
- Air dry before it goes back in a bag. Closed-cell foam does not absorb, but a wet surface still grows a smell.
- Store out of direct sun. UV is what turns moulded foam chalky.
